Cliff Bruce and Dave Mc Clements for the Storytelling Magic
presentation. Cliff had a lot of great insight on Storytelling or
Bizarre Magick. He
did give us a list of resources that could be looked up. He did have a
number of the books there that night. Notable info is that magicians
should also learn to "act", perform not just do tricks. A story line,
stage presence just to mention a couple, can be added to how the
magician performs. I hope you made that meeting. I don't do it justice
to write about it here. The
open mic after the break was some fun stuff. And, of course, Pete
Beeble ended up with some scary Halloween magic that he's been working
on. * * * * * * * * * * November meeting -- David
MacDonald, Michael "Ace" Russo, Steven Brundage and Matthew Bixby will present close-up magic to celebrate Cliff's 60 years of
