 THANK YOU
Our Holiday celebration was wonderful.  I hope you all had a great time as I did.  The entertainment was superb and a big thank you to Helen, Cliff and David for their performances and Pete for doing balloon sculptures and entertainment for the children. Kids sure like balloons.   I gave a little try out with my new puppet, "Better" in some walkaronds.
We also have to give a great big thank you to all that brought and made the wonderful refreshments.  So many homemade desserts,  I think Martha Stewart would have approved.  As usual all was a big hit and added to our waist lines!  At least mine.

January's Meeting
Speaking of puppets ---- Yes, I did mention that in the above paragraph.  The January meeting on the 26th will be Puppets and Ventriloquism.  As some of you know Bob Connor's is a historian on magic and ventriloquism as well as being an accomplished "Vent".  What they call ventriloquists!
OK, so he is accomplished on the history!  We will have a show and tell on the different puppets and vent figures.  A little on how to be a vent or at least see where it leads you to perhaps expand your horizons.

Pete Beeble will be giving a tutorial on spring animals!  So if you have any of them bring
them along and he'll show us how to improve working them.
Also Scott Payne has agreed to take his expertise on puppets and show and
talk about hand and marionette puppets.   So bring any of them that you have too.

This will be a terrific night with the magical use of puppets!
Don't miss it.

I'm going to bring some puppets and we are hoping that others will do the same if they have them for the open mic time.

Open mic will also be able to try out some new tricks that you received for Christmas or anything you just want to learn how to use one that you've had and can't figure it out.
Two heads are better than one and many heads should be able to come up with something.

Just a hint of the February meeting ----
